At our annual holiday party, we gave Mr. Glass a Lifetime Achievement Award. The evening featured an interview by the head of the SCL, Ashley Irwin, followed by a video tribute and live performance of some of his most beloved scores. I had the opportunity to sit with Mr. Glass and chat for about 10 minutes about our composing habits and personal lives.
