Gardens of Evil: new show from KSL podcasts

From the makers of COLD comes a new show for true crime lovers.

On first impression, it was just another quiet neighborhood in small town America. Neighbors took note of the immaculately groomed yards and trimmed hedges.  Little did they know that these brightly-colored flower gardens were hiding an insidious secret. Few suspected that one of the residents among them – a seemingly humble, unassuming man – was leading the neighborhood in an untold, shocking lifestyle. At its peak in 1991, more than a hundred residents of a Utah town joined the Zion Society cult.

All was done behind closed doors and under the cover of darkness. The days were spent grooming the beautiful yards. (the nights were spent grooming children.) The neighbors complimented the stunning gardens, but wondered about the footsteps they always heard coming and going between houses at night.

How could it be? How could those among us who seem so innocent and down-to-earth conceal such great evil? How can those we think are harmless pose such a threat? This is a podcast about a level of deception so carefully crafted as to fool an entire community. It’s about a hidden truth too unimaginable to be believed. But it was real.
